I have always been a creative person, even when I was a kid, I was always making something out of mud, fabric or cardstock. I tried to contain it but the creativity bursts out everywhere so now I run with it.
I worked for many years in my own pottery business, had my own studio/showroom, did gallery work and was for a few years sole pottery supplier to Jenolan Caves. I also taught adults and children and love teaching. I back injury stopped me continuing in this field so I started all over again.
I re-trained as a Colour Consultant/Interior Decorator and still work part time in this field.
I discovered Stampin’ Up! through my daughter in law. I thought “Seriously, how much fun can you have with stamps?” and went along just to be supportive. Ha! That’s all it took, one workshop and I fell in love with Stamping!
I was blown away by the many ways stamps could be used creatively, making a design your own personal production. Or by not using stamps at all but relying on other gorgeous products to make something stunning.
The other thing that stood out was the colour coordination, it is wonderful and as a Colour Consultant I’m not that easy to impress. With Stampin’ UP! Everything coordinates, the stamps, cardstock, patterned papers, ribbons, inks, pens, embellishments and even fabrics. Anyone can produce beautifully balanced designs for all occasions whether it is patchwork, card making, scrapbooking or off the page creations.
The quality is excellent too and Stampin’ UP! stands behind their products.
So I was hooked and signed up to become a Stampin’ UP! Independent Demonstrator, and I love it!
I hold regular workshops in my home on the second Friday of each month, and do workshops and demonstrations in the homes of hostesses where they have the opportunity to earn free products. I love seeing the joy on faces when they create their first masterpiece and realise just how easy it is.
Some of my regular ladies like more advanced workshops which is always fun too.
It is so easy to book a demonstration or workshop or order Stampin’ Up! products. Email me at stampinupwithdawn@gmail and I’ll get in touch with you.
Or you could visit my website www.dawnfergie.stampinup.net and flip through the catalog, find out more about becoming a demonstrator or hosting a workshop and enjoying the benefits Stampin’ Up! has to offer.
I’d love to help you unleash your creativity!
Thanks for stopping by,
